Linxdot Helium miner not mining

Hi all,

does anybody observing the same with your Linxdot miner? My miner is online, is fully synched but since one month did not mine anything. Did not got challenge or found any beacon although lining in an urban area with many miners around me. Seems the miner is online in the helium network but somehow not working at all. 
Somebody observed the same and knows a fix?

Hi Sebastian,

When your hotspot is not mining (beaconing, wittnessing) for such a long time and there seem to be no problems with the hotspot (online, not relayed, synced, diagnostic report not indicating sd card is full / too slow), then it is likely a hardware problem. Shorter flatlining (no earnings) can be due to the net (esp. flatline fix), but your dry period is way too long. Maybe Linxdot can analyze the physical performance of your antenna. Otherwise I recommend to use such a device to measure the antenna performance yourself:

This typically happens when the connection to your antenna isn’t quite right. If you aren’t already using the stock antenna, can you try to use that for a couple of days and see if you get any results?

Often users do a proper outdoor setup with multiple joints making up the cables, and those might fail. The above recommendation will at least exclude one of the reasons.

The other issue could be a faulty concentrator, but that is perhaps 1/10th of cases, compared to 9/10 being a bad connection to the antenna.
